Join the Petal Pushers for an exciting 3-days of hands-on float decorating and help to decorate many meaningful floats including the Lutheran Hour Ministries float titled, Make A Joyful Noise Unto The Lord, and attend the world-famous Rose Parade on January 1, 2024.
Enjoy 3- days of float preparation and decorating including the only Christian float in the parade and learn how the many beautiful and meaningful floats are designed, constructed and decorated. This year Lutheran Hour Ministries is celebrating it's 73rd anniversary of witnessing the gospel message at the Rose Parade. And on January 1st share an unforgettable day as we cheer from our reserved grandstand seats along Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena and watch the Lutheran Hour Ministries float in the America’s New Years Day celebration, the Rose Parade. This years float title to be announced soon.

Dec. 29 Float Decorating Day ~ “Make A Joyful Noise Unto The Lord” (B)
This morning enjoy breakfast at the hotel before your group transfers by private motor coach to the nearby float decorating pavilion for a day of decorating from 8AM-4PM. Departure transfer by private motorcoach to the hotel. The evening is on your own. Overnight Holiday Inn
Dec. 30 Float Decorating Day (B)
This morning enjoy breakfast at the hotel before your group transfers by private motor coach to the nearby float decorating pavilion to continue decorating the floats. After the decorating shift is complete, you will have the option to purchase a ticket $40 each to attend the “Behind the Scene” get together from 4PM provided by the Petal Pushers. Admission includes dessert and beverage and a Petal Pushers docent guided tour of the many floats in the pavilion to learn more about these beautiful works of art! Dec. 31 Float Decorating Day (B)
This morning enjoy breakfast to-go from hotel for our group transfers by private motor coach to the nearby float decorating pavilion to provide the final touches to the parade floats. Prepare for an early morning departure approx. 6AM, with a return by 4PM; unless floats are completed sooner. Departure by private motorcoach to the hotel. The evening is on your own. Jan. 01 133rd Rose Parade (B)
This morning enjoy breakfast to go from the hotel for your group transfer to the event we came to see is about to begin. Your group will transfer by private motorcoach to the parade route in Pasadena. Your reserved grandstand seats are located along Colorado Blvd. What an opportunity to see first-hand the amazing floats, the precision and music of the marching bands and equestrian groups. And, as the beautifully decorated Lutheran Hour Ministries float passes by we will jump to our feet and applaud, knowing that we have, in our own way, helped make it happen. After the parade you will transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day is on your own. Overnight Holiday Inn
Jan. 02 Departure Day (B)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before you check out. What a way to begin the New Year! Today, we bid farewell to our new friends and take home the lasting memories of our week of “once-in-a-lifetime” experiences and Christian fellowship.
