Join the Petal Pushers for an exciting 3-days of hands-on float decorating and help to prepare and decorate many meaningful floats including the Lutheran Hour Ministries float and attend the world-famous Rose Parade on January 1, 2025.
Enjoy 3- days of float preparation and decorating including the only Christian float in the parade titled, “Behold! Jesus the Savior is Born” and learn how these beautiful and meaningful floats are designed, constructed and decorated. This year Lutheran Hour Ministries is celebrating it's 74th anniversary of witnessing the gospel message at the Rose Parade. And on January 1st share an unforgettable day as we cheer from our reserved grandstand seats along Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena and watch the Lutheran Hour Ministries float in America’s New Years Day celebration, the 136th Rose Parade.

Dec. 28 Welcome to sunny California “The Golden State”
Make your way to the Holiday Inn West Covina Hotel for check-in for the next 5-nights. Closest airport is Ontario, CA. Overnight Holiday Inn
Dec. 29 Float Decorating Day (B)
This morning enjoy breakfast at the hotel before your group transfers by private motor coach to the nearby float decorating pavilion for a day of decorating from 8AM-4PM. Departure transfer by private motorcoach to the hotel. The evening is on your own. Overnight Holiday Inn
Dec. 30 Float Decorating Day (B)
This morning enjoy breakfast at the hotel before your group transfers by private motor coach to the float decorating pavilion to continue a day of float decorating. After the decorating shift is complete, you will have the option to purchase a ticket $40 each to attend the “Behind the Scene” get together from 4PM provided by the Petal Pushers. Admission includes dessert and beverage and a Petal Pushers docent guided tour of the many floats in the pavilion to learn more about these beautiful works of art! Afterwards the group will transfer from the pavilion to the hotel. The evening is on your own. Overnight Holiday Inn
Dec. 31 Float Decorating Day (B)
This morning pick up your breakfast to-go at the hotel before boarding our private coach for the transfer to the float decorating pavilion to provide the final touches to the parade floats. Prepare for an early morning departure approx. 6AM, with a return around 4PM; unless floats are completed sooner. Departure by private motorcoach to the hotel. The evening is on your own. Jan. 01 136th Rose Parade (B)
This morning pick up your breakfast to go box at the hotel before boarding the coach for our group transfer to the event we came to see! Together we will transfer by private motorcoach to our reserved grandstand seats located along Colorado Blvd. What an opportunity to see first-hand the amazing floats, the precision and music of the marching bands and equestrian groups. And, as the beautifully decorated Lutheran Hour Ministries float, “Behold! Jesus the Savior is Born” passes by we will jump to our feet and applaud, knowing that we have, in our own way, helped make it happen. After the parade you will be transferred back to the hotel. The remainder of the day is on your own. Overnight Holiday Inn
Jan. 02 Departure Day (B)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before you check out. What a way to begin the New Year! Today, we bid farewell to our new friends and take home the lasting memories of our week of “once-in-a-lifetime” experiences and Christian fellowship.
