USA/Rome
Depart USA Our flight takes us overnight to the busy international gateway of Rome, Italy.
There is a remarkable spiritual influence in Italy that is hard to deny and many travel to experience this. There is so much to discover when we step back in time to explore where everything first began. In the beginning, Christianity entered into Italy not long after the death of Jesus Christ. Paul traveled to Rome before there were Christian sites like we see today. Christians in Rome were the mouthpiece for spreading this new faith in Italy under the Roman Empire and exceeded 25,000 members by 250 AD. We’ll learn how Christianity was all but completely destroyed, through centuries of power struggles, before the people of Italy began to embrace Christianity once again.
DAY 2:
Arrive Rome
Morning arrival in Rome, the Eternal City. Antiquities of Rome guided tour including the Roman Colosseum, the Forum and more. Welcome Dinner and overnight in Rome. (D
DAY 3:
Apostle Paul’s Rome- Mamertine Prison where Paul suffered his final Roman imprisonment, Tres Fontane Abbey, and the burial location of St. Paul at The Church of St. Paul Outside the Wall. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner at a local trattoria. Overnight in Rome. (B/D)

Vatican Museums/Sistine Chapel/Afternoon Free
Visit to Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Rome. (B)
DAY 5:
Pompeii/Sorrento
Drive south to Sorrento. Stop in Pompeii. Dinner and overnight in Sorrento. (B/D)

Bavarian Castles/ Church of Wies/ Munich
Visit the famous Neuschwanstein Castle. Our journey continues to the peaceful Pilgrimage Church of Wies to admire the ornate decorations that have earned its UNESCO World Heritage status. Continue to Munich. Dinner and overnight in Munich. (B/D)

Munich
