Day 5, AMSTERDAM  BRUINISSE (B,L,D) 

Venture into the heart of the Dutch countryside, where canals, bridges, and thatchedroof homes transport you straight into a fairytale. Traverse throughthe serene countryside by bike, or wander Flevoland’s vibrant tulip fields delighting in the timeless vistas of the Netherlands’ floral filled landscapes.

Day 6, GHENT  BRUINISSE (B,L,D) 

Let the Delta’s serene waterways lead you to Zierikzee, where history, harbors and quaint cafés await. Explore the marvels of  the Delta Works at neeltje Jans, or pedal through the picturesque streets of Bruinisse, enjoying the region’s scenic beauty and storied history. Join a local guide for a walking tour of medieval Ghent, indulge in a Belgium Chocolate workshop. Experience Bruges, one of Europe's best-preserved medieval cities. UNESCO-designated canals, whitewashed beguinages and the Church of Our Lady stand as enduring reminders of the city's rich commercial and cultural heritage.

Day 7, ANTWERP (B,L,D) 

Explore this trendy city on a walking tour where you’ll see Antwerp’s Steen Castle, Grote Market and Brabo Fountain, along with the UNESCO designated Cathedral of Our Lady. For a more active exploration of the area join a guided bike tour. Later in the afternoon, you have a choice of two excursions. Foodies will want to go on a culinary tour to indulge in chocolate, waffles, and beer. Flower lovers and gardeners can roam through the Floralia Flower Show, an annual spring flower show featuring approximately one million bulbs that are handplanted each year by the castle staff.

Day 8, NIJMEGEN (B,L,D)

Walk the streets of Nijmegen, the Netherlands' oldest city, where Roman history meets vibrant modernity. Discover Valkhof Park, St. Nicolaas Chapel, the Grote Markt and two thousand years of fascinating stories. Visit the Airborne Museum, walk to the John Frost Bridge at the center of the battle and pay respects at the Arnhem Oosterbeek War Cemetery, where the human cost of the campaign is remembered. Centuries of Dutch history are preserved within Doorwerth Castle, a fortified estate set among the forests near Arnhem. During a guided visit, stories of medieval noble life intersect with the events of World War II that left a lasting mark here.

Day 9, DORDRECHT  ROTTERDAM (B,L,D) 

During the morning, venture to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kinderdijk, a lovely village renowned for having the country’s greatest concentration of windmills, all dating from the 18th century. Visit a privatewindmill via electric boat. You may also pedal past the windmills from the seat of a bike. In the afternoon, you can go on a walking tour of Rotterdam, nicknamed the “Gateway to Europe” and taste local specialties. 

Alternatively, enjoy an excursion to Delft, known as the home of the painterJohannes Vermeer, Delft Blue earthenware and the Royal House. While here, you’ll visit the Royal Delft PorcelainFactory and Museum. Or, if you wish to explore the history of US Immigration, join an excursion that visits Delfshaven, where, on August 1, 1620, the pilgrim fathers departed on their epic journey aboard the Speedwell, plus tour the FENIX Museum of Migration, a former harbor warehouse transformed into a unique educational experience. 

Day 10, AMSTERDAM (B,L,D) 

Enjoy a morning of scenic cruising before venturing out in the afternoon on a smaller boat specially designed to glide beneath the many bridges of Amsterdam. Alternatively, marvel at one of the most impressive public gardens in the world, Keukenhof Gardens, which present a spectacular display of millions of flowering tulips spread out over 70 acres. Spend time strolling through this legendary garden, open only nine weeks a year and sometimes referred to as the “Garden of Europe.”
